Travel
Karlstad lies in the center of Sweden
only 3 hours from Stockholm, Göteborg, and Oslo by car (see
map).
Karlstad Airport has
several departures each day, to both Stockholm
and Copenhagen.
Karlstad Central Station has regular services
to—among other places—Stockholm, Göteborg, and Oslo. It takes about 2.5
to 3 hours to reach Stockholm
by train.
