Test Driving the Energy Efficiency of a Wireless Network

Marco Ajmone Marsan

Abstract:
The quantitative estimation of the energy efficiency of a wireless network is not an obvious task, since a large number of parameters should be accounted for. Several proposals have been put forward in different contexts, but no general agreement has been reached. In this presentation I propose the adoption of meaningful test scenarios, and discuss the issue of test scenario definition.
