Kursens syfte

The purpose of the course is to give a broad understanding of the information security area and the different disciplines within that area and to give an insight into the vulnerability of the global information society. The focus of the course will be on how information technology can be misused in order to reach political, economical and social goals. The course will also give an overview of the information warfare area and the technical and psychological tools and methods used in order to inflict or counter an information warfare attack.

Omfattning

• 10 seminariedagar (10.00-11.30 och 12.30-15.00).
• 4 doktorandpoäng föreslås.

Examination

För att bli godkänd på kursen krävs aktivt deltagande i diskussioner samt minst 80% närvaro vid seminarierna.
